WHY USE A DISPOSABLE EMAIL?
Keep your primary email out of one-off signup forms. A disposable inbox is useful for permitted downloads, newsletters, and testing. Unprotected inboxes should not be treated as private: add a password before receiving mail. Use permanent email for important accounts.
What is tempmail?
Tempmail, also written as temp mail, is a temporary email address you use to receive messages without giving a website your main email address. A disposable inbox can be useful for a one-off download, a newsletter you are evaluating, or a signup flow you are testing. EduMails provides a free, receive-only inbox with a custom or randomly generated address.
You do not need to register an account to create an address. Choose a domain from the current list, open your inbox, and copy the address where temporary email is permitted. Delivery depends on the sender: some websites reject disposable email domains, and receiving a message is never guaranteed.
How to create a temporary email address
- Choose your address. Enter a username and select an available domain, or use Create a Random Email.
- Open the inbox. Copy the generated email address and use it for a low-risk task that permits disposable email.
- Check delivered messages. The inbox checks for new mail every five seconds while open. An email verification code or link can appear once the sender delivers it.
- Add a password if needed. Use the inbox’s Password control before sharing the address. Keep the password and inbox identifier safe; there is no forgotten-password recovery.

Edumail, edu mail, and student email
People use “edumail” or “edu mail” for different things: an education-themed temporary inbox, a particular email service, or an official school account. EduMails creates temporary addresses; it does not issue university accounts or verify student status. An address with “edu” in its name is not the same as a school-issued .edu email.

Choose the right email for the task
Use temporary email for short-lived, low-risk receiving. Examples include an optional download, a permitted trial you do not plan to keep, or a developer testing an invitation with synthetic data. Only use it when you can afford to lose access to the address and its messages.
Use a durable address for anything you will need later. Banking, healthcare, work, school, purchases, and account recovery need a permanent inbox with reliable recovery controls. Keeping your main address out of a signup form is one privacy benefit, but it does not make browsing anonymous. Temporary email questions
Is this temp mail free and available without registration?
Yes. You can create and read a standard inbox without registering an account or paying. Service availability, domain availability, and anti-abuse limits still apply.
Can I receive verification emails and OTP codes?
You can read verification messages that a sender successfully delivers. If nothing arrives, check the exact address, refresh the inbox, and confirm the sender accepts temporary email. Do not rely on disposable email for an account you need to recover later.
Is this a 10 minute mail service?
There is no promised ten-minute lifetime. Do not assume messages disappear after ten minutes or when you close a tab. Retrieve what you need promptly and treat the address as temporary.
Can I send email or reply?
No. EduMails is receive-only. For replies, attachments you need to send, or ongoing conversations, use a regular email provider. See why you cannot send from this temp inbox.
Does edumail provide student discounts?
A temporary inbox does not prove school enrollment or entitle you to a student offer. Use an account issued by your institution and the provider’s official verification process.
What if I lose my inbox password?
