About EduMails

EduMails began as a fast way to create receive-only addresses for signups, newsletters, downloads, and software testing. The site now also publishes fact-checked guides for student programs and AI offers, because an outdated “free trial” claim can waste time or put a user’s account at risk.

What EduMails provides

• Free temporary inboxes: create a custom or random address without opening a user account.
• Receive-only email: read delivered messages, verification links, and codes; sending is not supported.
• Optional inbox password: protect an inbox with a 6–72 character password. The server stores a one-way hash.
• Multiple recent inboxes: the browser can remember up to ten addresses for convenient switching.
• Available domains: choose from the current list, including education-style domains where available.
• Developer API: use temporary inboxes for authorized QA and automated email-flow tests.

The service is best for short-term, low-risk receiving. It should not be used for banking, healthcare, school records, paid subscriptions, or an account that needs reliable long-term recovery.

What EduMails does not provide

EduMails does not issue official university accounts, certify enrollment, or create a relationship with a school. An education-style domain is not proof that the inbox owner is a student. Vendors may require a recognized institution, identity checks, dated documents, SheerID, region rules, payment, or institutional SSO.

We do not guarantee delivery to every sender, permanent message retention, a fixed inbox lifetime, acceptance by third-party websites, or eligibility for discounts and trials. We do not support sending email or using the service to evade bans, rate limits, payment terms, or account rules.

How the privacy model works

No name, personal email, phone number, or payment details are required to create a standard inbox. The service must still process the chosen address, inbox identifier, received messages, and technical request data to operate. If a password is set, a password hash is stored; the browser keeps the entered password in session storage for the active session.

The site uses hosting, security, advertising, analytics, performance, and translation providers. Browser local storage keeps recent inbox details and message cache. These realities are explained in the Terms and Privacy page; we do not claim absolute anonymity or “zero tracking.”

Our editorial standard

1. Use official provider pricing, help, claim, or terms pages as primary sources.
2. Show when a time-sensitive offer was last verified.
3. Label offers as active, expired, discounted, or institution-only.
4. Separate school-issued email from temporary education-style inboxes.
5. Correct old claims when a promotion ends or product rules change.
6. Avoid instructions that bypass verification or abuse free trials.
