Create an edu-style temporary inbox for short-term receiving. EduMails provides disposable email; a school-issued student account comes from your institution.
Here, edumail means a disposable inbox on an available edu-style domain. It can receive messages without registration and supports an optional password. It does not issue a university account or establish student status.
Create free edumail
For an edu-style address, choose an available edu-style domain and a username, then select Create. Random Email can use any available domain.
Use a custom username containing 5–30 letters or numbers. The service removes punctuation and normalizes case, so copy the final address shown after creation. Set an inbox password before receiving messages; an unprotected custom address can be reopened by someone who knows its username and domain.
What is edumail or edu mail?
People use edu mail for two different things: an email account managed by a school, and an edu-style temporary email address. The difference is who operates the account and whether it is tied to your relationship with an institution.
A domain such as example.edu.pl is not the same domain as example.edu. The text “edu” inside an address is not proof that an account was issued by a university. EDUCAUSE publishes the eligibility rules for the .edu domain; those rules should not be assumed to apply to every domain containing those letters.

How to create free edumail with a password
- Choose an available edu-style domain. Read the full domain in the dropdown. If none is offered, this tool cannot promise one. Random Email chooses among all public domains.
- Create your address. Enter a username and select Create. Reusing an existing username on the same domain reopens its inbox.
- Set a password in the inbox. Use the Set password control and save a unique password of 6–72 characters.
- Copy the final address. Use it only where temporary addresses are accepted and you do not need durable account recovery.
- Check received mail. The unlocked inbox refreshes every five seconds. Sender acceptance and successful delivery are still required.
Keep the address and password in a safe place. There is no forgotten-password reset, and a new browser may not contain your recent-inbox history. The temp mail with password guide explains reopening, shared-device privacy and missing-message troubleshooting.
How to get a real student email account
If you need an official student email, use your institution's student portal or IT help desk. Account activation, eligibility and access after graduation follow that school's policies. An independent edumail generator cannot create a campus identity, enrollment record or institutional sign-in for you.

Does free edumail unlock student discounts?
No. Receiving a verification email proves access to that inbox; it does not prove enrollment. Education programs may require a recognized school account, enrollment documents or another approved verification method. Follow the program's actual requirements, and use the GitHub student verification guide for that specific application process.
Useful ways to use edu temp mail
- Authorized software testing: receive confirmation messages, invitations and test codes using synthetic data.
- One-time downloads: receive a brochure or public resource when the sender permits disposable email.
- Optional newsletters: keep low-priority email separate from your permanent address while deciding whether to subscribe long term.
Use a permanent email address for purchases, school records, paid accounts or any service you need to recover later. Password protection does not change the temporary nature of this inbox or make messages end-to-end encrypted.
Delivery, privacy and retention limits
A website can reject disposable domains or require an institution it recognizes. If an address is rejected, follow its rules and use an accepted address. Selecting a different suffix does not establish student eligibility.
If a message is missing, check the exact destination address, unlock the inbox and allow the sender time to deliver. If you control the sending system, check its delivery result. A five-second inbox refresh is not a delivery guarantee.
No fixed message lifetime is guaranteed. Closing a browser tab does not delete server messages, and the inbox Delete action removes local browser history rather than requesting server deletion. Read the privacy and retention policy before relying on any temporary inbox.

Is free edumail available without signup?
Yes. You can generate and read a standard temporary inbox without registration or payment. Available domains can change.
Is this a .edu email generator?
It generates addresses on domains currently listed in the form, including edu-style domains when available. It does not promise a literal .edu suffix or an institution-issued account.
Can I send email from this address?
No. EduMails is receive-only. It has no outbound mail or reply feature.
Can I keep the same edumail address?
You can try reopening the same address while its domain and inbox remain available. There is no guarantee of permanent access, message storage or password recovery.
