- Change it carefully. A protected inbox requires the current password before a new one can be set.
The browser keeps the password only for the active session, so closing the session or moving to another device can require it again. Do not share the full inbox URL, UUID, and password in the same message. If another person needs controlled access, send credentials through separate channels.
Password protection improves privacy but does not turn temp mail into permanent secure email. The service remains receive-only and temporary. Do not use it to store sensitive documents, account recovery codes, legal notices, or financial information.
