Questions worth checking
Can you protect the inbox with a password? Is the service receive-only? Does it state how long messages remain? Can you delete an inbox? Are attachments handled safely? Is there a clear abuse policy?
Use case matters more than branding
For an ordinary newsletter, download, or QA message, a short-lived inbox may be enough. For collaboration, purchases, billing, school access, or future password recovery, use a permanent account you control.
